The Associate Scientist will perform assays to characterize product or material safety. Responsibilities include making scientific observations, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Tasks include collecting and processing samples (e.g., blood, urine), performing necropsies on animals, conducting routine assays, analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The role requires adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.

The Associate Scientist will also assist in training new staff, contribute ideas for improving laboratory techniques, and maintain thorough records. Proficiency in computer programs like Word, Excel, and Provantis is required. The position involves setting up studies, managing samples, and communicating findings effectively.
