Primary PurposeOur service deli clerks are weighed by their ability to serve customers. They are responsible for maintaining deli cases, slicing meats and cheeses, and preparing other products. They share their expertise with customers by offering meal options and helping them find exactly what they’re looking for. This role may perform other duties as needed to support store operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain deli cases and display of meats, cheeses, and other deli products.
- Slice meats and cheeses to required thickness and weight specifications.
- Assist customers by offering meal ideas and helping them locate products.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service and maintain a clean, organized deli area.
- Assist in other duties as needed to support store operations.
- Prior experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible availability to meet store needs.
