What You’ll Do:

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation.
• Prepare hot entrees, soups, vegetables, and accompaniments for various dining areas.
• Follow recipes and preparation sheets to ensure quality and presentation.
• Complete advance prep, food temperature checks, and tasting for each meal.
• Maintain accurate preparation records and store food properly.
• Clean work area and equipment after use.
• Follow proper lifting, bending, and safety procedures.
• Assist with fire safety and emergency evacuation as needed.
• Cooperate with other departments and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in cooking, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Attention to detail and a passion for preparing great food.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
