Service Technician; HVAC​/EPA Certified

Overview

We are hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician who is HVAC or EPA certified. The technician will resolve work orders, complete preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day onsite operations under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician and Community Manager. • Resolve work orders, complete preventative maintenance, and assist with routine maintenance and capital improvement projects onsite.
• Be thorough and courteous; accurately assess the root cause of each work order and close it out to improve residents' homes.
• Walk the property daily to know the grounds and buildings and clear away trash or debris.
• Turn around vacant apartment units and prepare them for new residents.
• Respond to assigned work orders or general maintenance in a timely manner and communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager as tasks evolve.
• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor on special projects or property-wide routine maintenance as necessary.

• HVAC or EPA certification required.
• Strong work ethic, customer service focus, and a foundation in general appliance repair, painting, plumbing, and landscaping.
• Ability to stay in sync with company and community operating and safety policies and comply with federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing.

Full-time position, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one hour for lunch. On-call rotation participation is required.

• Pay rate: $24-$26 per hour.
• Employer-provided benefits; quarterly bonuses up to 5% of annual salary.
• $100 on-call stipend.
