Job Summary
Mid-sized federal appellate litigation firm seeks a litigation support attorney. This is a non-track attorney position supporting the firm's litigation team, however, promotion to a track appellate‑litigation position is possible.
The successful candidate has 1-3 years attorney experience and is detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and writing skills. Principal responsibilities involve document (case file) review as well as oral/written communication with clients. This job is perfect for someone who is returning to the legal field after a hiatus or otherwise does not want the high stress of litigation.
Responsibilities- Document (case file) review.
- Oral and written communication with clients.
- 1-3 years attorney experience.
- Active, good‑standing bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Excellent organizational and writing skills.
- Resume must contain law school GPA and class rank; cover letter discussing legal writing experience.
Medical benefits; matching 401k; and performance‑based bonuses. Starting salary: $75‑$85k based on experience. This position is remote and requires residence in Maryland, DC or Virginia.
