Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an AI Enablement Lead for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in DMV Area
.

Rockville, MD/Tysons, VA/Washington D.C.

- Hybrid (3x a week on-site)

Own, drive, and create comprehensive training programs (self‑service and instructor‑led) for Software Development Lifecycle 3.0 (SDLC with AI integration), serving as the definitive resource for software delivery practices across the organization. Additionally, work collaboratively with other members of the Enablement team, Engineers, and customers to develop AI‑driven solutions as tools and processes rapidly evolve, ensuring these innovations are seamlessly incorporated into training programs.

Core

Responsibilities Program Development & Ownership
  • Own end‑to‑end SDLC training program from conception through delivery and continuous improvement
  • Design comprehensive curriculum covering SDLC best practices, AI integration, tools, processes, and standards for multiple training formats (self‑service, instructor‑led, hands‑on labs)
  • Build and maintain centralized training repository with examples, exercises, best practices, knowledge glossary, and tool guides
  • Establish learning paths for new hires and existing employees at varying technical proficiency levels
AI Enablement & Solution Development
  • Collaborate with Enablement team, Engineers, and customers to identify needs and develop AI‑driven SDLC solutions
  • Prototype and validate solutions as AI tools and processes evolve throughout the year
  • Demonstrate strong engineering taste and product judgment—discerning what to build (which automations truly add value), how to build it (balancing simplicity with sophistication), and the ability to communicate these decisions with clarity to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills to address technical challenges in AI tool adoption and integration
  • Bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and practical implementation in SDLC
  • Rapidly incorporate new solutions into training materials and delivery as they are developed
  • Serve as technical advisor on AI tool selection, implementation patterns, and best practices
Content Creation & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Develop instructional materials including presentations, videos, documentation, interactive exercises, and hands‑on labs reflecting current and emerging practices
  • Identify and engage subject matter experts across technology teams to contribute and validate content
  • Consult with technical leaders and engineers to understand processes, pain points, training needs, and solution opportunities
  • Build organizational relationships to gather input, secure buy‑in, and promote adoption
  • Maintain content currency as SDLC practices, AI tools, and technologies evolve rapidly
Training Delivery
  • Facilitate instructor‑led training sessions for technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Present to groups ranging from small teams to large organizational audiences
  • Adapt delivery style based on audience size, technical level, and learning objectives
  • Manage classroom dynamics including Q&A, discussions, and hands‑on activities
  • Provide technical demonstrations of tools, processes, and best practices
Program Management
  • Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, and deliverables for both training and enablement initiatives
  • Manage priorities and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of training materials and sessions
  • Track and measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
  • Report on program progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders

Continuously improving training based on feedback, changing needs, and emerging technologies

Required Skills Technical Knowledge & Development Background
  • Strong SDLC expertise including Agile, Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), testing strategies, and deployment practices
  • Developer background with hands‑on software development experience and coding proficiency
  • AI integration in SDLC including AI‑powered development tools (e.g., AWS Kiro cli)
  • Capability to identify and correct low‑quality AI‑generated content
