RegOps Lead Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Reg Ops Lead Engineer to join their team. As a Reg Ops Lead Engineer, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Investigations organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products with the company's technology infrastructure to support investigative functions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Graph
  
  QL APIs to enable efficient data exchange between external platforms and internal systems.
• Architect scalable integration solutions that connect external products with internal databases, applications, and services.
• Build and maintain middleware, integration layers, and data pipelines to ensure reliable system-to-system communication.
• Collaborate with COTS vendors on technical requirements, API specifications, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system integration.
• Strong expertise in Graph
  
  QL, including schema design, query optimization, resolver implementation, and federation patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML), and API gateway technologies.
