Teamcenter Administrator III, Product Lifecycle Management System

This role requires an Active Secret Clearance and is responsible for the design and licensing process for an advanced nuclear reactor. The position will maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, enhance, and train personnel regarding X‑Energy’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Xe‑100 environment, including back‑office IT infrastructure. The role is also remote‑eligible.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain cognizance and fluency in company IT hardware and supporting software systems.
  • Coordinate with hardware OEMs, software vendors, 3rd‑party IT support staff, and company IT management personnel to ensure PLM systems remain available, functional, and operable with minimal downtime.
  • Gain fluency in Teamcenter (TC) functionality, including an understanding of contract configuration/data management requirements, naming conventions, author/reviewer/approver assignments and their influence on workflows, etc.
  • Develop processes and procedures for the use, expansion, and enhancement of Teamcenter as a fully integrated PLM tool. Early efforts shall be focused on Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) file management and document management, including part creation, change control, and assembly integration.
  • Work with team partners and subcontractors to enable their access and ability to exchange files and documents with company TC instances while ensuring IT security, user authentication, and data integrity.
  • Maintain and monitor Teamcenter Development, Integration, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.
  • Stay abreast of new modules, capabilities, and upgrades to the TC software.
  • Evaluate and coordinate upgrades, including the performance of the installations, with remote support from the OEM or 3rd‑party service organizations.
  • Manage licenses and annual maintenance for all users.
  • Manage users on TC organization.
  • Support users with all issues surrounding TC.
  • Interface with the TC supplier/OEM on any unresolved technical issues.
  • Ensure effective training for all users.
  • Ensure fully functional and detailed training manuals for both users and system administrator.
  • Streamline Teamcenter for users to ensure user‑friendliness.
  • Attend Configuration Control Board meetings, as required.
  • Play an active role to ensure safety and quality culture is promoted and continually improved.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Qualifications
  • An Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience with Siemens Team Center preferred.
  • Typically, five years of experience in an IT Service Management role required.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling a plus, integration of models from various CAD software vendors, and management of files/assemblies within a PLM environment.
  • Experience in supporting programs in the implementation and maintenance of PLM systems, customized to the specific contract requirements.
  • In‑depth experience with Teamcenter PLM is a requirement.
  • Knowledge and experience of setting up new workflows.
  • Experience in configuration management, change control, and document management using a PLM.
  • Technical proficiency in CAD (NX), IT infrastructure (servers, storage, remote backups, security), product data management tools, and project lifecycle management tools.
  • C/C++ and JAVA experience required.
  • Knowledge of writing basic scripts in batch files for TC.
  • Knowledge of common scripting languages (Power Shell, Perl, Python).
  • Able to perform customization (i.e., programming changes) and configuration (i.e., BMIDE changes and property file updates).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to security protocols.

Location:

Rockville, MD 8:00am‑5:00pm EST, Mon‑Fri Remote Eligible Travel 10%

Compensation Range: $96,525‑$160,875 Full time – Exempt
