A SRC Federal Data Network Technologies has a great opportunity for a A/V Technician (Junior) to join our team in Rockville, MD where we support the NIH (National Institutes of Health). If you are able to work on-site with our NIH customer in Rockville, MD you'll find our culture to include professional development and a passion for "excellence" in providing customer service.
This role is to facilitate conference room meeting support and hybrid meeting support on-site at the NCI Rockville and Bethesda locations in Montgomery County, MD. The responsibilities include performing on-site maintenance activities for NCI Conference space, working with NCI client to understand their meeting needs, participating and facilitating testing/dry runs of meetings, and supporting NCI meeting needs.
Requirements- High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of technical support experience in audio/visual technologies.
- Experience supporting telephony, video, network and/or other collaboration devices
- Experience using ticketing system (prefer Service Now) is a plus
- Experience providing customer service and end user support
- Strong proven record learning new technologies and support
- Strong written and oral communications required
- Ability to work core hours Monday-Friday between 7AM to 6 PM
- Ability to work on-site daily at various sites in Montgomery County, MD
- Permanent Residency or US Citizenship required for the government background investigation
- Provide audio/visual meeting support for federal customer
- Daily conference room checks: verify all equipment is online, functioning and charged
- Daily meeting support: hands on technical support resource for customers for all conference room meeting needs
- Support the Web Ex / Zoom / MS Teams VTC Platforms
- Room computer and Laptop connectivity
- Supports customer during meetings; support includes video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or room computer presentations, Web Ex setup, etc.
- Logs all transactions with customers in Service Now
