As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will support the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation, providing high‑quality specialist engineering and coordination support for a wide range of lab equipment. This role includes Level 1 triage in the lab before corrective maintenance calls and collaborates with third‑party service providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure operations run smoothly and in compliance with GxP and GDP practices.

What

You’ll Do
  • Perform secondary review of GxP laboratory instrument certificates and test reports to verify they meet customer requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison with third‑party service providers, ensuring all customer requirements are met through careful review of GxP certificates and related documents.
  • Archive GxP certificates and test reports in accordance with retention procedures.
  • Act as an intermediary between third‑party providers and procurement, ensuring valid purchase order numbers are in place.
  • Process invoices for payment to third parties for assets supported by the business.
  • Provide training support and backup to department personnel for reviewing GxP laboratory asset certificates and test reports; process related invoices.
  • Ensure procedural compliance when initiating changes that affect laboratory assets.
  • Use the CMMS to report closures, maintain work orders, and store documentation in line with GxP and GDP practices.
  • Work within an established CMMS system (e.g., Maximo) for service coordination.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations with staff.
  • Prepare and set up equipment daily, ensuring availability for staff scientists.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment as needed.
  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices while receiving moderate supervision.
  • Resolve straightforward problems using existing procedures, with limited discretion.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Clear communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organisational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills, including simple calculations such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The minimum salary for the Laboratory Coordinator is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary is $80,000 annually. Compensation will vary based on education, training, and experience.
