Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts

• Handle 8-12 case load per shift

• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month

• On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month

• STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour callback guaranteed

• Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in IR (required)

• Perform elective catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), right heart catheterization, STEMI procedures, IABP, and pacemaker procedures

• Handle cardiac stent placement, temporary pacemaker insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, angioplasty procedures

• Maintain sterile field while scrubbing

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• 3 years of experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS (with IR experience)

• 2 supervisor references required

• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine drug screen - positive test results in cancellation

• May float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospital

• Scrubs provided

• Charting systems:
Cerner, Mc Kesson

• Non-billable modules average 4-6 hours completed during orientation and annually
