The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both administrative and clinical functions to ensure efficient office operations and high-quality patient care. This position involves direct patient interaction, provider support, and accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with routine clinical tasks to facilitate a smooth and professional healthcare experience.

Job Responsibilities
- ENT Back Office/Medical Assistant duties including but not limited to:
- Take patient vitals and collect intake health history and reason for visit
- Assist the doctor(s) with charting patient exam, assessment and plan
- Order necessary tests, imaging, etc.
- Manage follow-up care
- Communicate with patients regarding test results, prescriptions, or other recommendations
- Prepare and assist in office procedures
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Inventory and stocking of medical supplies
- Scan, assign, and progress note incoming documents and health records
- Set up exam rooms and assist with routing cleaning
As with any dynamic clinical setting, responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the clinic and support overall team success.
Qualifications Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.
- 1 - 2 years of clinical experience required.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Act as a professional representative of the practice at all times.
- On-site, clinical office setting.
- Monday-Friday, daytime schedule; occasional after-hours meetings may be required.
- Ability to move throughout the office as needed, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting. Must possess manual dexterity for handling equipment and the ability to push, pull, and carry items as required.
