Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily invoice processing and expense management within their Finance Department. This role is responsible for end-to-end AP functions, vendor coordination, reimbursements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all transactions.

• Scan and process invoices into the P2P system in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and communicate with vendors regarding compliance and inquiries
• Audit P2P invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Attach monthly Excel backup documentation as required
• Manage reimbursement accounts, including journal entries and receipt verification
• Process in-house expense reports, including mileage reimbursements
• Process back charges as needed
• Provide additional support to the Accounts Payable team as required

• Process reimbursements for gas charges
• Review vendor statements and coordinate directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Handle Sales and Use Tax responsibilities
• Prepare quarterly reconciliations for A/P and A/R exchange accounts

• Experience in accounts payable or finance operations
• Familiarity with P2P systems and invoice auditing
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
