Calibration Technician II Overview

The Calibration Technician II reports to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director. The role is non‑exempt and requires travel up to 50%. A company vehicle is provided.

Calibration Technicians perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and client specific policies and procedures. They support the team, build trust, and demonstrate PCI values.

• Complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate GxP documentation.
• Perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations under guidance.
• Identify safety issues, educate peers on safety practices, and relay new opportunities to leadership.
• Complete timesheets weekly and assist with proper coding of time and expenses.
• Maintain PCI and client equipment, perform testing, and follow standards equipment procedures.

• Proficiency in calibrations, qualifications, and PMs.
• Knowledge of traceability, substitution of standards, and test accuracy.
• Understanding of GMP, life science regulations, and instrument instrumentation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and commitment to PCI values.

A two‑year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent military training. Two years of Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration experience or equivalent education/experience. Preferred quality system/pharmaceutical experience.
