Sr Structural Engineer (Data Centers) –

Base pay: $/yr – $/yr.

Location:

Any U.S. location. Ideal candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. office, but the best talent will be selected.

• Perform a variety of structural analyses.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Conduct member and foundation design calculations, material take‑offs, and schedule preparations.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers on capital projects ranging from new builds to retrofits and colocation sites.
• Coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices, both domestic and international.
• Support project delivery through technical and professional growth and expanding leadership within the organization.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer, with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA, STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other relevant design codes.
• Knowledge and application of building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Teams.
• Ability to travel 10–20% to client sites.

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience with industrial metals projects such as casting or rolling operations.
• Leadership experience delivering projects on schedule and budget while meeting quality and client expectations.
