Job Responsibilities- Analyze system requirements, specifications, and performance objectives.
- Design control systems and develop control algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and integration.
- Develop and implement control strategies using programming languages and tools.
- Design and configure control hardware such as sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Create technical documentation including schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Integrate control systems with hardware and software components.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Collaborate on test plans with quality assurance teams.
- Optimize control systems for efficiency, stability, and reliability.
- Identify and resolve system performance issues.
- Monitor system performance using data analysis and recommend improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support.
- Stay updated on control system technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Control System Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of control principles, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and related software.
- Familiarity with control system modeling and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Work is performed in office and workshop settings, with travel to customer sites (~30%). Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, and operate various equipment.
