Judaic Studies Teacher

Berman Hebrew Academy Upper School, located in Rockville, Maryland, seeks dynamic Jewish educators who are passionate about making a significant impact on Modern Orthodox Jewish education. The ideal candidate will be a passionate Jewish educator, grounded in educational best practices, who seeks to form deep and meaningful relationships with students that inspire leadership and growth. This position is for the  academic year.

The opportunity includes:

• Teaching core Judaic Studies subjects (Gemara, as well as Tanach, and/or Halacha);
• Collaborating with a talented and supportive team of colleagues across subject areas;
• Being present and a presence in and out of the classroom, supporting our school and school community;
• Potential for a leadership role in the Gemara Department (Department Chair).

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 – $85,000, based on experience and qualifications. This range is our best estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined at the time of the offer.
