General Physiatrist
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm,
Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Adventist Health Care Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Physiatrist for our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Physiatrist you will:
- Screen admissions
- Admit patients
- Act as the attending with co-management by internal medicine
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopath
- Board Certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Board Eligible (within the timeline outline by the medical staff office bylaws)
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
