Dental Hygienist – Part‑time (1 Day a Week)

Key West Crossing Dental Associates is hiring part‑time for this Dental Hygienist position.

Schedule:

Fridays 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location:

15020 Shady Grove Road, Suite 325, Rockville, MD 20832.

As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, providing patients with the time, care, and education they need and deserve. Key duties include

• Performing dental hygiene procedures with excellent working knowledge of dentistry
• Screening patients and documenting medical history
• Collaborating with the dental team to support clinical autonomy
• Continuously learning and applying new techniques and equipment (e.g., Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners)

• Current dental hygienist license in Maryland
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR certification

• 0 years of clinical experience (but willingness to learn)
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs
• Ability to work flexible clinic schedules as required by office

• Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Require lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• Completion of a TB test is required for all new dental office hires (not applicable in FL & TN)
