Overview
Design scenery and set pieces for three annual productions including a spring production in March, a summer production in July, and The Nutcracker in December.
Lead volunteer teams to implement design.
Coordinate with Rockville Civic Ballet leadership,
F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre technical specialists, and city leadership.
- Knowledge of construction of scenery and set pieces.
- Knowledge and experience maintaining and updating existing set pieces.
- Ability to lift/move scenery and set pieces.
- Set designer with a community ballet company.
- Supervision of volunteer construction crew.
- Involvement with load-in/strike of a ballet production.
- Collaboration with artistic and technical teams for set design for new ballet works.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
