The Lead Product Manager owns the vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for multiple products and/or highly complex products. This role is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and delivering product capabilities throughout the full product lifecycle while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to maximize user and business value.

Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for multiple products or complex product domains.

Identify user needs, business gaps, and opportunities by developing clear product requirements, vision, and strategy documentation.

Develop a deep understanding of the business, product domains, and data needed to inform strategic decisions.

Represent the product domain in product group and stakeholder discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Ownership

    • Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for multiple products or complex product domains.

    • Identify user needs, business gaps, and opportunities by developing clear product requirements, vision, and strategy documentation.

    • Develop a deep understanding of the business, product domains, and data needed to inform strategic decisions.

    • Represent the product domain in product group and stakeholder discussions.

  • Backlog & Delivery Management

    • Own and manage product backlogs, ensuring prioritization aligns with product strategy, user value, and resource capacity.

    • Lead product planning activities, including creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and release requirements.

    • Partner with engineering, architecture, and UI/UX teams to drive successful product delivery.

    • Determine release goals, prioritization, implementation, and iteration plans.

    • Resolve escalated issues and remove blockers that may impact delivery or launch timelines.

  • User Research & Data-Driven Decision Making

    • Leverage existing data and analytics, and commission new research as needed, to understand user needs and inform prioritization.

    • Conduct experiments and organize primary research to uncover additional user value.

    • Identify innovative methods and metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Build strong partnerships with business, product, design, architecture, and technology teams.

    • Coordinate with interdependent teams and influence leadership to drive alignment and operational efficiency.

    • Participate in intake and demand management processes for the product domain.

  • Launch & Post-Launch Management

    • Lead complex product launches by developing and executing launch plans with cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Coordinate formal user acceptance testing (UAT) when required.

    • Develop product documentation, enablement materials, and training to support successful adoption.

    • Track and report on launch metrics, user feedback, and performance trends.

    • Lead post-launch reviews and drive incorporation of feedback into future releases.

  • Product Performance & Lifecycle Management

    • Monitor product metrics in partnership with stakeholders to evaluate performance and outcomes.

    • Identify gaps, optimization opportunities, and, when necessary, product end-of-life plans.

    • Work with internal and external users to identify, classify, and resolve product-level issues.

  • Leadership & Continuous Improvement

    • Provide coaching and guidance to junior and mid-level product managers.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to establish best practices and improve product development and delivery processes.

    • Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices in product management and technology.
