Senior Accountant

Description

A non-profit is seeking a senior accountant for a contract role.

Duties include:

+ Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, and reporting.

+ Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

+ Review and approve journal entries prepared by accounting staff.

+ Oversee weekly payment disbursements and banking activities, coordinating approval of all disbursements.

+ Manage the month-end close

Requirements

7 plus years of accounting experience and an undergraduate degree in accounting is required.
