The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide essential support for the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly processing of invoices, expense reports, reimbursements, and reconciliations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys technology-driven, detail-oriented work and is comfortable learning new systems quickly.
Responsibilities- Scan invoices into the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) system
- Monitor AP email inbox and respond to vendor inquiries regarding compliance or payment status
- Audit P2P invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Attach monthly Excel backup documentation as needed
- Reimburse management accounts, journal entries, and receipts
- Process in-house expense reports, including mileage reimbursements
- Process back charges and assist with special AP tasks as needed
- Support other AP team members with ad hoc projects
- Reimburse corporate gas charges
- Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage Sales and Use Tax responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial documentation for reporting purposes
- Prepare quarterly reconciliation for A/P exchange and AIR exchange
- Collaborate with internal teams to verify accuracy and completeness of records
