Accounts Payable Specialist

Base pay range $27.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Kforce has a client in Rockville, MD that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate and timely disbursements. This role supports the accounting team and helps maintain strong vendor relationships in a fast‑paced environment.

• Process invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies
• Assist with AP reconciliations
• Maintain AP records and ensure compliance with company policies

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
