Addison Group is seeking an Audit & Collections Analyst for one of our clients in the Rockville area. Our client is a well‑established organization offering a collaborative team environment, strong leadership, and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Description:

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional looking to build experience in auditing, accounting, and collections. The Audit & Collections Analyst is responsible for reviewing financial data, tracking audit progress, and assisting with collection efforts to ensure compliance and timely resolution of outstanding accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute audit correspondence while maintaining accurate records
  • Gather required documentation for auditors and monitor ongoing audit status
  • Review audit findings and manage delinquent contributions or payment discrepancies
  • Verify and process audit invoices and payments
  • Communicate with clients to resolve delinquencies and reconcile account information
  • Support internal and external teams with reporting and document management
  • Track legal collection cases and maintain detailed follow‑up logs
  • Recommend corrective actions for over payments or inconsistencies
  • Perform other administrative and analytical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2–3+ years in collections, auditing, or related accounting role
  • Excel proficiency: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Plus: Experience with financial data or trust fund accounting
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Interview Process: One onsite interview with short Excel/math assessment
  • Start Date: Approximately one week after offer
  • Screenings: Credit, criminal, and drug background check required
