Job DescriptionManagers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience on each visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high quality, service and cleanliness standards. Shift Managers typically perform the following tasks:
- Plan for each shift
- Monitor performance during the shift
- Take action to meet McDonald’s standards for quality, service, cleanliness, safety, security and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to facilitate a smooth hand‑over
- Help departments meet their goals and targets during the shift
- Food Safety
- Internal Communication
- Inventory Management
- Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who thrive in the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
