Base Pay Range$39,000.00/yr - $49,400.00/yr
Responsibilities- Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, and work with EMR and CRM systems.
- Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly; collect copay at time of visit.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well‑stocked with necessary materials.
- Provide assistance with various administrative tasks; monitor performance metrics, conduct team huddles, and take on center administration duties in the absence of the Center Administrator.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for the receptionist team, offering training and guidance; support multiple centers as needed.
- Address and resolve any issues, escalations, or complaints from patients or staff.
- 1+ years of medical reception experience
- Value‑based care model experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR systems
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Experience in leading a team/department
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
