Position:Guest Service Representative (GSR)
The GSR provides courteous and efficient service to all guests before arrival and throughout their stay. Responsibilities include registering guests, issuing keys, keeping site records, managing reservations, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean, well‑stocked store.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greet all guests approaching the front desk in accordance with KOA standards.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints thoughtfully while maintaining campground standards.
- Prepare reports as required, relating to shift checklist and downtime.
- Answer inquiries regarding campground amenities and local attractions.
- Log and deliver all messages, packages, and mail promptly and professionally.
- Maintain communication and teamwork with associates and other departments, using proper radio etiquette.
- Handle cash drawer and follow KOA cash and credit card procedures.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Maintain store displays and inventory control, and communicate ideas and guest feedback.
- Increase revenues through up‑selling strategies and profitability of ancillary income.

RequiredEducation and Experience
- Fluent English speaking and hearing.
- Effective communication and conflict management skills.
- Working knowledge of operational procedures.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions- Work may involve indoor and outdoor settings with varying weather.
- Office work requires use of standard office equipment.
- Must lift up to 10 lb regularly and 25+ lb occasionally with assistance.
- Must stand for long periods, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, reach overhead, and move safely over uneven terrain.
- Work involves repetitive motion, standing, bending, sitting, lifting, and walking.
- Noise level moderate to loud.
- Possible exposure to dust, pollen, grass, landscaping, chemicals, and moving mechanical equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment as required.
- Work may involve occasional interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Valid driver’s license required; position may require driving a motorized vehicle requiring vision and traffic signage awareness.
