Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Building Maintenance

Are you a hardworking, reliable maintenance technician? We’re looking for you! Our company is growing, and we need a maintenance professional who has the know-how to keep our facilities and equipment in top shape. You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks.

If you have a passion for fixing things, we want you to bring your experience to our team. Days are flexible, mornings to afternoons are best, and hours could vary from 15-25 each week. This is for a temporary 6 months to cover an LOA. Apply today!

• Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
• Manage other maintenance requests as required
• Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
• Make records of when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
• Items that we find are often broken, need attention, or are basic needs of the property
• Doors- include lock issues, squeak, and door handles
• Painting, drywall repair, and holes
• Bathroom fan cleaning
• Screen holes/rips repaired
• Pressure washing building/decks
• Tightening screws in decks, doors, locks, etc
• Toilet issues including handle replacements, leaks, and flushing issues
• Replacing grout or caulking
• Spraying for ants/wasps
• Grass mowing, weeding, and weed whacking
• Hanging curtains, mini blinds, and repairing damaged holes/drywall
• Understanding our systems, which include mini-splits, door locks, etc.

• Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
• Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
• 2+ years of maintenance experience

$20 - $25 hourly
