Copy Editor​/Production Coordinator

Overview

ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full-time Copy Editor/Production Coordinator to join our team in our Rocklin, California office. This role supports our technical and scientific teams by ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of written deliverables.

• Editing, formatting, and proofreading technical and scientific documents, reports, and proposals to ensure that they are clear and free of errors (grammar, spelling, pagination, punctuation, etc.), following ECORP’s Style Guide, the Chicago Manual of Style, or other style guides, as applicable.
• Collaborating with authors, technical staff, and project managers to clarify writing and improve the documents’ readability, flow, and accuracy of information.
• Ensuring the proper use and introduction of technical terms and acronyms while maintaining a consistent style and voice.
• Formatting documents to follow client- and government-specified styles and formats, both manually and using Word Templates, as appropriate.
• Publishing documents using Adobe Acrobat and other tools, verifying that documents are complete per company standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience editing or producing documents in a professional setting.

This is a full-time hourly position with a range of $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
, equivalent to approximately $72,000 – $87,000 annualized
. Actual compensation is based upon relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
