Legal Secretary

Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team in Rocklin, California. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with a strong background in legal administrative tasks and a meticulous mindset. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting legal operations and ensuring efficiency in daily processes.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit electronic court filings accurately and in compliance with legal procedures.

- Manage and maintain calendars to ensure deadlines and appointments are met efficiently.

- Draft and edit legal documents based on dictation and other instructions.

- Organize and track case files to ensure accessibility and proper documentation.

- Coordinate with attorneys and other legal staff to facilitate smooth workflow.

- Handle incoming calls and correspondence with attention to detail.

- Conduct research to assist with case preparation and legal proceedings.

- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all tasks.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports and legal filings.

- Provide administrative support in managing office operations and supplies. Requirements

- Proficiency in electronic filing systems and court filing procedures.

- Strong organizational skills for effective calendar and schedule management.

- Experience with Litigation

- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
