Fisher Engineering currently has openings for Assembler/Packers. Assembler/Packers are expected to be motivated by goals set for the team, cooperative and willing to work at any task. Positions are available on the first shift, second shifts as well as a few seasonal openings. Must pass pre‑employment drug screen. Starting pay $17.50 per hour with wages increased based on experience and skill! We also offer a $1/hour bonus for perfect attendance and an additional 10% of your hourly rate added for second shift.

Perform a variety of bench and structural assembly, boxing and bagging operations of parts, components, and assemblies for the company’s snowplow and Ice Control product lines and accessories. Assembly may be performed on a paced conveyor or non‑paced environment. Set up and operate machinery and equipment such as assembly and packaging, unloading parts from a powered conveyor, bagging machines, strapper, and assorted power and hand tools.

Actively participate in team and total quality commitment activities. Perform designated maintenance functions; assume ownership for quality of all products. Participate in training and 6‑S activities.

• Perform to JI's or standard work as trained
• Maintain safe working conditions and 6‑S
• Compliance with regulations, procedures, policies
• Scrap reduction and control
• Meet production plan and standards (produce to takt)
• Cost control
• Teamwork and participation
• Timely preventive maintenance
• Report assembly and packaging problems or unusual workplace events to BU lead person or supervisor
• Use a variety of material handling equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
