Role Description

The Manager of Events and Corporate Engagement will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all museum events, including exhibitions, fundraisers, and community outreach initiatives. This full-time, on-site role based in Rockland, ME, involves collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and corporate partners to ensure successful events and partnerships. The Manager will also be responsible for strengthening relationships with sponsors, developing creative engagement strategies, and managing event budgets and logistics to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • Event planning, coordination, and execution experience
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining corporate partnerships and sponsor engagement
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Proven communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management
  • Familiarity with arts, museums, or cultural institutions is an asset
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically when developing new event and engagement initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with event management software or tools is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for events
