Rad Tech Job Summary

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing diagnostic exams.
• Determine how the technique selections affect optimal image quality.
• Follows policy and procedures.
• Ability to navigate online resources pertinent to job responsibilities.
• A
• ability to lift and move patients; push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, shift rotations and call as needed.

Rad Tech Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry eligible from an accredited Radiology program.
• CT Registered or CT registry eligible preferred.
• Maintains certification in
