Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Urgent and Acute Care
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) to provide high-quality urgent and acute care across multiple community-based centers. As a vital part of our healthcare team, you will treat both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent care while embodying our commitment to community health and professional excellence.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a supportive team, handle a diverse range of cases including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations, and develop your clinical skills within a well-organized setting. The ideal candidate is experienced in adult and pediatric urgent care, proficient with electronic health records (Epic preferred), and capable of independently managing patient care.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical Urgent Care or Acute Care experience treating both adults and pediatrics
- Current board certification (PA or NP) and valid licensing
- Certified in BLS, NC DEA registration
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated ability to see and treat all patients independently
- Strong soft skills, including effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to handle high patient volume in a positive manner
Skills:
- Experience with minor procedures (I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation)
- Prior experience in high-volume urgent care settings
- Additional certifications in pediatric or family care
Education and Experience:
- PA or NP graduate from an accredited program with active board certification
- At least 12 months of recent urgent or acute care experience
- Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Must pass clinical screening and participate in mandatory EMR training (scheduled weekly)
- Ability to work within a service radius of 60 miles from residence
- No travel or overnight lodging reimbursement; mileage only
- Availability to participate in onboarding and training sessions on specified Wednesdays
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00/hour
