A respected leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Health and Safety Specialist to join their team near Dobbins Heights, NC. This newly created position plays a key role in advancing occupational health and safety programs across two facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a proactive culture of safety throughout the organization.

• Lead comprehensive risk analyses, safety audits, and compliance reviews across facility operations.
• Develop and deliver advanced safety training programs for employees and leadership teams.
• Coordinate the investigation of safety incidents, monitor corrective actions, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Guide proactive HSE risk management strategies across all organizational levels.
• Maintain and regularly update emergency response plans, safety documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Prepare detailed performance reports for management, summarizing key metrics and improvement outcomes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar health and safety role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practical application in plant settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, safety audits, and corrective action implementation.
• Background in designing, executing, and supervising safety training programs.
