Award winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the Richmond County community. Responsibilities

About the Position:

  • Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient practice, Mon-Fri schedule.
  • Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges.
  • Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR.
  • Full-service cardiology practice – 30+ experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region.
  • Be a member of the First Health Physician Group, a team of 400+ hospital-employed providers.

Qualifications
  • NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
  • Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
