We’re hiring a CDL Delivery Driver at our rental facility in Rockford, IL, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

• Salary range: $22-$50.75 per hour. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, overtime after 40 hours. On call during the weekend in special circumstances.

• Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws; transport loads safely and in a timely manner; obey traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Safely maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment; unload empty skids and return equipment to designated area.
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping documents, and deliver paperwork to appropriate staff.
• Facilitate routine service on trucks (oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance issues.
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
• Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state; must be appropriate for vehicle weight.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by DOT; must pass DOT physical (vehicles over 10k lbs).
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
• Physical requirements:
  
  able to sit for long periods; able to lift up to 40 pounds; frequent travel may be required.

The Heavy Equipment CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting loads, assisting with loading and unloading, maintaining necessary documentation, and performing routine vehicle service.
