Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Associate - Rockford, IL. Value Added Distributors is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic VMI Associate to join our team in Rockford, IL. • Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, Day Shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Location:
  
  Rockford, IL
• Travel:
  Drive a 25-ft. company box truck (non-CDL) to customer locations

Responsibilities

• Delivering, stocking, counting, and re-ordering products at customer sites
• Developing strong customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities
• Managing inventory binders and running quarterly/biannual usage reports
• Participating in weekly meetings with team members and managers
• Coordinating warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and order entry

Necessary Skills

• Strong decision-making ability with a sense of urgency
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card and Class C Non-CDL license
• Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely

Bonus:
Previous knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus!
