Regional CDL-A Driver Position

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 total ($500 after first load, $500 after 30 days) | Home Weekly Dollar Store

This position covers compensation, home time, job details, requirements, and benefits for a regional CDL-A driver delivering to Dollar Tree stores in IL, WI, IN, and MI. 100% touch freight (hand unload to stores). Training is provided via a 2-day ride-along with a driver, with pay for training.

• Mileage Pay (based on experience):
  • 0-11 months: $0.82/mile
  • 12-23 months: $0.83/mile
  • 24-35 months: $0.84/mile
  • 36+ months: $0.85/mile
• Unload Pay: $245 per trailer
• Backhaul Pay: $70 per backhaul
• Stop Pay: $25 per stop
• Weekly Earnings: $1,500-$1,700 gross (based on 800-1,000 miles, 3 loads/week)
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 total ($500 after first load, $500 after 30 days)

• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
• Weekends NOT guaranteed
• Must be available Sunday-Saturday
• Work days vary based on delivery schedules

• Freight Type: 100% touch freight (hand unload to Dollar Tree stores)
• Coverage Area: IL, WI, IN, MI
• Equipment: International and Freightliner tractors (superior turning radius)
• Stops: Typically 3 loads per week
• Training: 2-day ride-along with DT driver ($150/day paid training)
• Truck Parking: Must park at Markham Terminal or Dollar Joliet DC (no home parking)

• Valid Class A CDL
• Customer service skills and patience required

• Physical ability to safely unload stacked freight
• Must bring 2 weeks' supplies to orientation (clothing, bedding, toiletries, medication)
• Flexibility for varying schedules

Drivers cannot be hired if they worked for Werner or C.R. England on this account within the last 6 months without working for another carrier in between.

• Weekly pay
• Paid vacation (increases with tenure):
  • 1 week after 1 year
  • 2 weeks after 2 years
  • 3 weeks after 7 years
  • 4 weeks after 10 years
• Tenured support staff
• New truck assignment upon completing orientation
