Lead Front-End Engineer

The Lead Front-End Engineer is responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and component-driven frontend applications. This role provides technical leadership across the frontend ecosystem, ensures adherence to engineering standards, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality digital solutions. The Lead will serve as a mentor, contribute to architectural decision‑making, and help advance the engineering culture within the organization.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient frontend applications using React, Type Script, and modern UI component patterns.
• Define and enforce frontend coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.
• Develop new features, enhancements, and UI improvements aligned with product requirements.
• Produce high-quality code and participate in solution design as a senior engineer.
• Create and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Architect frontend application structures to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, architects, and product teams to support system integration and design consistency.
• Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into frontend applications.
• Work with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, user experience, and reliability.
• Apply AI‑augmented development, including AWS Bedrock and prompt engineering.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance team environment.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support the growth of engineering team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with React and Type Script.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering and AWS Bedrock preferred.

The estimated base salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
