Maintenance Technician

Envolve Community Management, LLC owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at Rockford Ridge Apartments in Rockford, IL.

Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, applying specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and will assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Description:

The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and assist with groundskeeping and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, toilets, sinks, basic carpentry, and other maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and documentation related to maintenance operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with groundskeeping as instructed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• HVAC certification with 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely using proper tools and techniques.
• Availability for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Background screening and drug testing are required.

Licenses & Certifications (Preferred):
