Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter in an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
* Monitor and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
* Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help maintain a secure environment.
* Follow site-specific protocols related to access control and visitor management.
* Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
