Bear Creek Truss Inc is seeking a driven and experienced Roof & Floor Truss Salesperson to manage and expand our client base in the Chicago area. This is a full-time sales role with a strong foundation—over $3 million in active accounts—providing the perfect platform for a motivated professional to thrive. • Manage and grow an established portfolio of clients in the Chicago region
• Identify new business opportunities in the residential and commercial construction markets
• Read and interpret construction blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive quotes
• Use truss design software to develop and propose efficient structural solutions
• Work closely with the internal design, production, and logistics teams to meet client expectations
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support throughout the sales cycle
• Maintain detailed records of activity, client communication, and project milestones

• Minimum 3 years of experience in truss sales or a related building materials field
• Strong understanding of structural framing and wood components
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with truss design software (MiTek, Alpine, or similar)
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a dynamic sales territory
• Valid driver's license required
• Competitive base salary plus commission (earning potential up to $82,000+)

Monday to Friday

Occasional travel within the Chicago region to visit job sites and meet with clients
