Overview

Position Summary:

What you'll do and how you contribute to the team. This role focuses on maintaining area of responsibility per Company policies, providing member service, supporting self-checkout operations, safeguarding company assets, training colleagues, and upholding ethics and integrity in daily job duties.

• Maintain area of responsibility in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including handling returns, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Provide member service by managing exit areas, reviewing receipts, acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Support self-checkout operations: resolve member issues, promote Sam s Club products and services, guide members on self-service technology, process purchases, and handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies for different membership and payment types.
• Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam s Club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintaining documentation, executing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
• Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on processes and procedures, new technology and tools, and program rollout training; provide continuous learning and process improvements.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying action plans and the Open Door Policy in daily business processes.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; communicate progress and identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment by supporting a culture of belonging and teamwork; communicate with impact, energy, and positivity; mentor others and recognize contributions.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00+. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
