Kelley's Market – a family‑owned convenience store chain with deep roots and big opportunities. Service since 1926, Exxon Mobil distributor, located in Lyford, Rockford, IL 61108. Sales Associate position reporting to Station Manager.

• Deliver outstanding customer service, providing fast, friendly, and courteous service that creates positive shopping experiences.
• Master point‑of‑sale systems for smooth transactions, refunds, and register operations.
• Stay current on pricing, promotions, and product locations to help customers and boost sales.
• Keep store looking great: stock and organize shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays; maintain cleanliness; work in various conditions; keep Café areas fresh.
• Handle daily operations: complete shift paperwork, assist with cash and safe reconciliation, follow food safety guidelines, maintain accurate timekeeping.
• Work as part of the team: collaborate, follow safety and security procedures, alert management to operational issues.

• Competitive compensation: $15.00–$18.00/hr, $3/hr shift differential for 3rd shift (10 PM–7 AM).

• At least 21 years of age; where required by law, may need to obtain an Operator License to sell alcohol.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and stand for extended periods.

• Prior experience in a convenience store, gas station, or retail environment.
• Experience handling cash and completing shift reports or basic bookkeeping tasks.
