Position Summary
Assist in laboratory tests based on research projects under faculty supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform experimental tests and assays. Record and analyze results in order to provide conclusive data for research projects. Work with survey data from smokers. Maintain materials, methods and records of experimental procedures, including evaluations of data accumulated. Compile and summarize results for reports, manuscripts, grants and articles for publication. Research literature in order to maintain a current knowledge of laboratory research methods and terminology.
Ensure safety and cleanliness of assigned laboratory. Other duties as assigned.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience in laboratory research.
