An inpatient neurosurgery opportunity is now available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Illinois. This assignment offers a consistent schedule with an established team, perfect for a provider seeking a stable locums role with great work-life balance.

Work alongside a dedicated team of 2 neurosurgeons and another APP
Practice Setting
Primarily inpatient coverage with some outpatient clinic responsibilities
Manage a shared inpatient census of 20-25 patients
Responsibilities include rounding, patient assessments, and care coordination
Schedule
Consistent 12-hour day shifts
Long-term, ongoing coverage need with fall start dates still available
Build a schedule of 15+ shifts per month that works for you
Procedures and Cases
Focus on neuro interventional cases
Management of comprehensive stroke patients
Requirements
Active BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 24 months of neurosurgery experience
Active Illinois license
Credentialing Requirements
Please allow approximately 90 days for the credentialing and privileging process
