Begin your journey on 01/30/2026 and step into a role that blends clinical excellence with the satisfaction of guiding patients through complex GI procedures. This position offers a competitive weekly compensation range of $2,040–$2,141, with guaranteed hours at 36 per week, providing the stability you deserve while you explore new facilities and communities.

As you care for patients undergoing endoscopic interventions, you’ll help shape outcomes in a specialty that demands precision, vigilance, and a compassionate touch. This is more than a job; it’s a pathway to broaden your clinical impact, expand your network with GI teams nationwide, and grow your expertise in a supportive travel environment that values your contributions.

Location & Travel

Rockford, Illinois sits near the scenic beauty of the Midwest, offering a rich blend of culture, parks, and family-friendly amenities. You’ll enjoy the Riverbend District, where trails, dining, and riverfront strolls invite recovery and connection after shifts. The city’s surrounding nature—tucked gardens, heritage sites, and seasonal scenery—provides a welcoming backdrop for work-life balance. Illinois itself offers a tapestry of experiences, from vibrant urban hubs within reach of Rockford to tranquil rural escapes that showcase the seasonality and hospitality of the region.

For the intrepid traveler, this role also opens doors to other locations across the U.S., allowing you to rotate through facilities with diverse patient populations, equipment sets, and procedural volumes. Whether you’re exploring a historic neighborhood, catching a festival, or enjoying a remarkable park, you’ll discover opportunities to recharge and reconnect between assignments. Our program emphasizes seamless travel support, housing assistance as needed, and community integration, so you can focus on delivering safe, high-quality endoscopy care wherever you go.

Role

Specifics and Benefits

As an Endoscopy RN, you’ll be the patient advocate and procedural continuity expert in the GI suite. Your responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, patient education on sedation and recovery expectations, and meticulous peri-procedural care to ensure airway safety and hemodynamic stability. You’ll assist physicians and the endoscopy team by circulating, maintaining sterile technique, coordinating equipment readiness, and ensuring accurate documentation of procedural findings and patient responses.

You’ll participate in post-procedure handoffs, monitor recovery and discharge criteria, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing turnaround times and complications. The role is designed for professional growth within GI nursing, with opportunities to develop expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques, sedation protocols, and standardized care pathways. Beyond clinical responsibilities, you’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated travel program: 24/7 assistance throughout your assignments, access to housing support and stipends when applicable, and the potential for contract extensions based on performance and facility needs.

The compensation package remains competitive, with the weekly pay range noted above and the guarantee of 36 hours per week, providing financial predictability as you plan your transitions between sites. Please note that final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process and may vary by location and assignment specifics.

Company Values

Our organization is built on empowering nursing professionals to advance their careers while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered culture. We invest in ongoing education, clinical mentorship, and opportunities to take on leadership or specialty-focused roles within the GI arena. You’ll join a supportive work environment that prioritizes open communication, teamwork, and a balanced approach to career development, recognizing that every nurse’s growth enhances patient care…
