Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a day shift Emergency Department position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to current standards and protocols
- Document care accurately and timely in alignment with care standards
- Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across units
- Support patient and family education as part of individualized care planning
- Active and current IL RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
